SCOTLAND Frantic Assembly and the National Theatre of Scotland Beautiful Burnout Written by Bryony Lavery, Directed by Scott Graham and Steven Hoggett. Featuring the music of Underworld

National Theatre of Scotland returns to Perth with an exhilarating Frantic Assembly co-production that draws you into the explosive world of boxing.

Cameron Burns is going places. He's going to see his name in lights. He's going to make the world take notice. He's fighting for his club, his mum, his place in the world. And this boy is a natural. He has an affinity with the violence, the balance, the ritual, the grace and the power.

Featuring a pulsating soundtrack by electronic heavyweights Underworld, Beautiful Burnout is a play that gets your heart pounding.

Supported by the Scottish Government International Touring Fund.
Contains strong language, very loud music and strobe lighting.
STRICT LOCKOUT POLICY - LATECOMERS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.

Friends of the Festival Artist Talk Tue 14 Feb, post-show (Free to all ticket holders)

I only hope that the rest of Jonathan Holloway's first festival has other shows as good as this. It will have none better. THE WEST AUSTRALIAN
