AUSTRALIA/INTERNATIONAL spaced: art out of place

Explore the relationship between globalisation and local identity with imaginative and stimulating works in sculpture, photography, painting, installation and multi-media. The culmination of a two-year cycle of residencies, this ground-breaking project involved 24 Australian and international artists spending time in 16 regional WA communities to consider their social and physical environments. The results are surprising and provocative.

spaced: art out of place is a new international biennial event, an initiative of IASKA and presented with Fremantle Arts Centre, City of Fremantle.
